The aim of physical education must be to make 'every child physically, mentally and emotionally fit and also to develop in him such personal and social qualities as will help him to live happily with others and build him up into a good citizen.

Physical Education prepares students to be physically and mentally active. It enables them to become physically fit and maintain healthy lifestyles for life.

The Department of Physical Education was established in the year 1975. Sri Sanjeeva Reddy, Sri P.Siva Nagi Reddy worked as PDs in this department. Sri K.Markandeyulu is working as PD in this college since 2022.He is a National Player. He represented AU in Softball and Tennis for AP state.
